Troll Ski Marathon
These recommendations are based on testing and weather prognosis.

The forecast says cloudy and gentle breeze on Saturday. Temperatures below zero during the night but rising throughout the day. Coarse grained snow due to the warmer temperatures the last week.
STRUCTURE:
Stone ground skis: Medium structure. Use hand structure on stone ground skis for better glide.
Swix Structure Tool: 1.0 mm linear structure, use imprint roller and light pressure.
GLIDE
Alt. 1:
- Iron in LF8X. Let cool off. Iron in once more and let cool off. Scrape off with a Swix Plexi Scraper, and brush with a Swix Bronze or Steel Brush.
- Finish with the Blue Nylon Polish Brush.
Alt. 2: (racing)
- Iron in one layer of HF8X or DHF104 White Marathon. Let cool off. Iron in once more and let cool off. Scrape off with a Swix Plexi Scraper, and brush with a Swix Bronze or Steel Brush.
- Apply Cera F FC8X with an iron temperature of approx. 165°C. Make one continuous pass with the iron with a constant pressure – take one side of the groove at the time. Let cool approx. 10 min. Brush the powder away with a horsehair- or wild boar brush.
- Finish with the Blue Nylon Polish Brush.
GRIP
- Sand (rub) the grip zone area with #100 grit silicon sandpaper.
- Iron in a thin layer of KX20 Green klister or spray on a thin layer of KB20 Green Base klister.
- Apply a layer of KX35 Violet Special klister. Let the skis cool off outdoors during the night.
If it is colder than the forecast says on start you can consider to cover the klister with two to three thin layers of VR55N soft violet wax. If the temperature rices above zero on start you can consider to apply layer of K21S Silver Universal klister on top.
Take along K22 Universal klister and K21S Silver Universal klister, cork and a good scraper.
