A rising star on the US scene, Olympian Sophie Caldwell has big plans for 2015.
A native Vermonter, Sophie Caldwell was on skis from the time she could walk. After a phenomenal year of racing which saw her finish 8th overall in the World Cup Sprint standings as well as a World Cup Podium when she finished 3rd in the skate sprint at the Lahti World Cup, Sophie concluded the year with an impressive sixth place finish in the skate sprint in Sochi, the best result that any American woman has had in the Olympics in Nordic skiing. Sophie remains on the US Ski Team and will focus on still more World Cup success.
