GLIDE WAX RECOMMENDATION:

EXPRESS LANE TO HAYWARD Waves Elite thru 3
Base Wax Layer: Apply two (2) layers of Swix LF6X. Use iron temperature of 145C to apply. Let cool, scrape and brush with Swix T179 Steel Brush. Polish with Swix T161 White Nylon Brush.
Race HF Wax Layer: Apply two (2) layers of Swix HF6X. Use iron temperature of 145C to apply. Let cool, scrape and brush with Swix T179 Steel Brush. Polish with Swix T161 White Nylon Brush.
Race Cera F Wax Layer: Apply one (1) layer of Swix FC6X Cera F Powder. Use iron temperature of 160C to apply and move iron quickly over the ski base, 8-10 seconds per ski. Let cool 3-4 minutes. Brush out with Swix T164 Wild Boar Brush or Swix T157 Horsehair Brush. Polish with Swix T160 Blue Nylon Brush.
Velocity Enhancer Layer: Apply one (1) layer of Swix FC6XS Cold Turbo Block. Apply and roto fleece in with Swix T18F-2 Roto Fleece, brush out with Swix T164 Wild Boar Brush or Swix T157 Horsehair Brush. Polish with Swix T160 Blue Nylon Brush. Cover with HVC Cold Liquid.

Velocity Enhancer Layer: Apply one (1) layer of Swix FC8XS Warm Turbo Block. Apply and roto fleece in with Swix T18F-2 Roto Fleece, brush out with Swix T164 Wild Boar Brush or Swix T157 Horsehair Brush. Polish with Swix T160 Blue Nylon Brush. Cover with HVC Warm Liquid.

Kickwax recommendations

All Waves
Binder Layer- VG35, one layer ironed in at 120C, smooth with a cork and let cool outside 5 minutes. We recommend that you apply the binder layer the night before the race to let the binder set up.
Waves Elite through 3
Kicking Layer- VR40, 3-5 layers, cork each layer smooth.
Top Layer- VX43, 1-2 layers, cork each layer smooth.
Note, bring some VR45 to apply during the race if needed.
Waves 4-7
Kicking Layer- VR55N, 3-5 layers, cork each layer smooth.
Top Layer- VX53, 1-2 layers, cork each layer smooth.
